Kyocera’s superfast cut-sheet inkjet production printers offer a cost-efficient alternative to conventional printing in transactional, trans-promotional and direct mail applications.
Built for speed and reliability they feature our innovative proprietary printheads and ink technologies.
Our parent company’s long history and technical expertise in fine ceramics, enables them to offer high performance inkjet heads utilising our own piezo actuator.
Kyocera has been in the inkjet business for over 20 years and supply many OEMs with inkjet printheads. Specifically, the KJ4B Inkjet head series is designed for high-speed printing of water-based inks. It is optimal for Transactional and Trans Promo Printing, Document Printing and Textiles.
The large print heads on our TASKalfa Pro devices enable fast, single pass printing up to SRA3. The technology delivers superior colour quality and sustained high volume production. Here the print heads work together with Kyocera’s water pigment inks to ensure a consistent output density. The ink has excellent penetration into paper and dries quickly after printing to prevent feathering and bleeding. Additionally, the inks reduce emissions from VOCs (volatile organic compounds) and UFPs (ultra fine particles) to help improve workplace emissions in commercial printing facilities.
Let’s take the TASKalfa Pro 15000 series for example, these devices use water-based inks and are powered by eight three-pin plugs running on a 13-amp circuit in full configuration, drawing just 4.7kW/hr. As a result, the TASKalfa Pro 15000 devices are estimated to use 70% less power than comparable toner and legacy equipment, resulting in considerable overhead energy savings for commercial printers.
In the UK our fully trained service technicians offer a 2-hour response to our production print customers. The TASKalfa Pro 15000 series has fewer moving parts than toner-based products, its modular design opens from the front making it easier to maintain, and there is no recalibration time required, optimising uptime for our customers.
